Green and egg yolk marbled Bakelite bracelet

This vintage bracelet packs a powerful color punch! The translucent marble is a mixture of dark green, medium green, very pale green and egg yolk (yellow with a hint of pale orange). Of course, it wasn't always this color and when you hold it up to the light you can see hints of blue on the inside wall. This glossy bracelet measures 1/2" wide, 1/4" thick and has the standard 2 1/2" diameter wrist opening. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.

HINT: If you're having trouble getting your bangles on, try putting a nylon knee-high over your hand. This removes the friction and allows your hand to slip through freely!

All Bakelite is tested using a variety of methods. These include Simichrome polish, hot water (smell test), tapping bangles together for the appropriate sound, and checking for mold lines and other discrepancies.
