* This is a gorgeous vintage celluloid brooch with tons of color and design. A circle of pink and green painted flowers and leaves surround the large highly detailed flower in the center of the pin. Five glass dangles in four different colors hang on silver metal chains from the bottom of the brooch. Four of the glass dangles are shaped in a modified teardrop, with two being pink and one each in blue and green. The fifth dangle is ruby red and shaped like a pointed bi-cone crystal. This is jewelry as art and is highly collectible.

* This vintage brooch is 4" long from the top of the pin to the bottom dangle and is fully 2" wide. From front to back this pin is 1/4" thick.

* This beautiful celluloid pin is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or signs of decomposition. The paint is original and intact. The silver metal chains are intact and show no signs of rust or discoloration. The glass dangles show no chips, cracks or scratches. The closure is a 2 piece pin back, which is attached to the brooch with glue.

All Bakelite is tested using a variety of methods. These include Simichrome polish, hot water (smell test), tapping bangles together for the appropriate sound, and checking for mold lines and other discrepancies.
