Lipstick red carved and faceted Bakelite necklace

* This striking Bakelite choker is a glossy lipstick red with carved geometric dangles. In-between each dangle is a small red marbled celluloid bead. The chain is made up of these celluloid beads and Bakelite tube beads. A matching red celluloid chain completes the look of this terrific vintage Bakelite statement necklace.

* This is a short choker necklace that measures 16 1/2" in length. I will include an adjustable 4" necklace extender (seen in photo 8) to make this piece more wearable. Each dangle is 2" long end to end and measures approximately 7/8" wide at the bottom and 1/4" at the top. The celluloid beads are 1/2" in diameter and the tube beads are 1/2" long.

* In excellent vintage condition, there are no chips, cracks or visible scratches to any of the Bakelite or celluloid beads. The celluloid chain is also in excellent condition with no misshapen or broken links.

All Bakelite is tested using a variety of methods. These include Simichrome polish, hot water (smell test), tapping bangles together for the appropriate sound, and checking for mold lines and other discrepancies.
