* This very pretty and colorful Art Deco choker necklace has square green & black marbled Bakelite beads, emerald and bright blue round glass beads, transparent lime green faceted plastic beads and silver metal rose beads. This necklace has a decorative slide-in clasp made to look like an open rose.

* The length of the inner necklace is 16 1/2" and the outer strand is 17 1/2" long. All of the beads are between 3/8" and 1/2" in diameter.

* In excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or visible scratches to any of the beads. All of the beads are shiny except for one green faceted bead that has some wear to it, but it is near the catch and so would not normally be seen.

All Bakelite is tested using a variety of methods. These include Simichrome polish, hot water (smell test), tapping bangles together for the appropriate sound, and checking for mold lines and other discrepancies.
